Leicester UK-based bank Alliance & Leicester has awarded UK- and Czech-based Testlink Services Ltd a contract to refurbish, upgrade and store (prior to reinstallation) its growing estate of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs).
With frequent use, sometimes abuse or an environmentally hostile environment, the ATM must remain a dependable source of cash while upholding the corporate image and standards of the provider. TestLink specialises in stripping previously deployed ATMs, assessing wear and tear on the electro-mechanical modules, replacing component parts, upgrading as required, refinishing the cabinetry and fascias to original condition, replacing branding and decals and rebuilding and testing the ATM for full functionality and future reliability.
With a large estate and high numbers of ATMs being reworked and reinstalled, Alliance & Leicester required a service provider with not only the knowledge and processes to perform the refurbishment activity but also to store and accurately track both the ATMs and the stock associated with refurbishment. TestLink's highly integrated Enterprise Management System provides this capability while also allowing Alliance & Leicester managers secure access and 24-hour visibility of their stock via a web-enabled viewing portal.
By contracting this service directly from TestLink, Alliance & Leicester benefits from reduced costs, a professionally managed service providing increased and innovative deliverables, while at the same time ensuring its deployers and customers benefit from access to highly reliable ATMs refurbished to a high cosmetic standard. |
