The Raminator™ anti ramming device protects ATMs from ram raiders using a car, 4x4 (4WD, SUV) and even a digger or truck.
The Raminator™ bolts to the ground and to the floor or sides of your ATM. It works by absorbing and deflecting the force exerted during an ATM ram raid - disarmingly simple but devastatingly effective.
How anti ramming plates work
Instead of fighting the kinetic energy caused by ramming, the Raminator™ anti ramming plate bends - absorbing the shock and leaving the fixing bolts securely in place.
The rammed ATM is left at a diagonal angle, protecting it from repeated ramming. Any further attempts result in the ramming vehicle merely riding up the ATM instead of hitting it squarely.
In tests, engineers drove an 8.8-ton JCB at an ATM protected by the Raminator™. It held firm.
Then they tried using the digger's hydraulics to lever the ATM off the Raminator™. Still it held secure.
The Raminator™ can be retrofitted to your existing ATMs or specified as a security option in the installation of your new ATMs.
