• What are the risks of not using a cassette tester?

A cash cassette that hasn't been tested is at risk of creating direct and indirect costs to the company.

The ATM could over or under pay customers withdrawing cash. Not only will this potentially cause a problem with the cost of the cash but it will cause poor customer relationships and bad publicity.

• How long does it take to test a cash cassette using the cassette tester?

It takes approximately 15-20 seconds to test the configuration, cash low sensor and shutter mechanism. No other cassette tester can beat the speed and accuracy of the TestLink Cassette Tester.

Yes, the cassette tester also tests the cash low sensor - we know how important it is to arrange prompt cash refills and if the cash low sensor is not working you may end up with an empty ATM.

The cassette tester also enables the user to test the cassette shutter. This is one of the most common failures of a cash cassette and it is essential to check it is working correctly before it is put in an ATM.
