ATM Vendors TestLink Help Client Cut Costs By Up To 70%

ATM vendors sell 51 P70sMarch 2009: Independent ATM vendors at TestLink Services are supplying an initial order of 51 high quality remanufactured ATMs to the Philippines - saving the client up to 70 per cent on the price of new ATMs.

UK- and Czech-based TestLink is shipping 33 NCR Persona P70 lobby ATMs and 18 NCR Persona 5885 'through the wall' ATMs to Filipino ATM supplier One Point Contact Inc.

TestLink has rebuilt the ATMs to 'as new' condition and is in talks with One Point Contact to supply further shipments of remanufactured ATMs.

The remanufactured ATMs are being installed to support the national banking system across the Philippines.

Remanufactured ATM vendors meet tight deadline

Engineers at TestLink worked to a tight timescale to strip down and rebuild the first order of ATMs, modifying them to the client's specifications to make them suitable for the Filipino market.

The TestLink technicians - many of whom have OEM experience - even custom-engineered some of the parts required to ensure maximum performance and reliability from the remanufactured ATMs.

Each ATM underwent a detailed 210-point inspection before leaving TestLink's facilities in Poole, Dorset, UK.

TestLink secured the deal through its Web site - www.testlink.co.uk - which has just been upgraded to reflect the diversified and higher level ATM services the company now provides.

ATM vendors "on the global stage"

ATM Sales Manager Andrew French said: "This contract represents further endorsement of TestLink's expanding ATM activities on the global stage.

"It also means that we continue to grow and employ new staff in difficult economic times. It really is a reflection of the quality of our products and the people within our business."

Increasing numbers of ATM operators across the world are turning to TestLink to remanufacture cash machines to 'as-new' standard - saving up to 70 per cent on the cost of equivalent new NCR and Wincor cash machines.

Many TestLink clients have typically first considered buying new ATMs but then opted for high quality remanufactured ATMs from TestLink after learning they are painstakingly stripped down and rebuilt to 'as-new' condition.

That makes them much more reliable than 'cosmetic makeover ATMs' supplied by other third party companies and often more reliable than when they left the factory originally.

ATM vendors with hundreds in stock

TestLink has hundreds of ATMs in stock to ensure short lead times. Engineers rapidly upgrade them to customers' specifications and ship them across the world.

TestLink has 20 years of experience in providing ATM remanufacture, ATM refurbishment and repairs, helping the environment by increasing the reuse and recycling of automated banking equipment and reducing ATM-related waste.

Clients range from global banks and mutuals to independent ATM deployers and third party maintenance organisations. Many rely on TestLink's specialist expertise to provide a secure ATM asset and estate management service.

By outsourcing ATM performance monitoring, servicing and maintenance to TestLink, they are improving the reliability of their global ATM networks and reducing costs at the same time.

Other services offered by TestLink include ATM installation and de-installation; ATM cassette refurbishment (NCR, Wincor, Fujitsu); ATM security (anti-ramming, anti-skimming, ATM cassette locking bars) and ATM storage. TestLink is also accredited and approved to dispose securely of ATMs for leading international banks.

The NCR ATM cassette testing system created and developed by TestLink helps banks and other ATM operators to configure their machines' cash cassettes correctly - avoiding the serious financial and reputational damage caused by ATMs paying out the wrong amounts of cash.

TestLink operates to the ISO9000 and ISO14001 quality standards and has an ethical environmental policy.
