How strong is the adhesive bond on the ATM?The PINGuard™ is fitted using a very high bond adhesive - some versions of this bond can reach over a quarter of a ton. Does the PINGuard™ meet the Payment Card Industry (PCI) standard?Yes, the PINGuard™ has been designed to meet the PCI standard for PIN shield for unattended PIN entry devices.; For more information about the PCI standards, visit their website. Could criminals fit a camera to the PINGuard™?Tens of thousands of PINGuard™s have been fitted globally and not one has experienced a camera being attached to it. The opaque sides of the PINGuard™ would show if there was a camera attached. The curved design would also make it nearly impossible to fit a camera to its design. Can the PINGuard™ be bolted down?Yes, the PINGuard can be bolted down to the ATM for extra strength. Most ATM deployers will find that the strong adhesive will be sufficient though. What temperatures can the adhesive work to?When the PINGuard™ is being fitted, the the adhesive needs to be fitted at a temperature of 10˚C (50˚F) or above. Once the adhesive has cured, it can then deal with extreme temperatures from -35˚C (-31˚F) to 138˚C (280.4˚F). Where can I find the fitting instructions?The fitting instructions come in the box with the PINGuard, but you can also download them here: PINGuard™ Fitting Instructions Does the PINGuard™ comply with the Disability Discriminations Act (DDA) and the American Disabilities Act (ADA)?The PINGuard has been designed to meet both the DDA and ADA requirement. Every reasonable means has been made to ensure that disabled people are not discriminated against. Further additional accessories are also available that can further help disabled persons. Please contact us for more details. Can the PINGuard™ be removed if it is no longer needed or if the ATM is being replaced?A removal kit can be supplied to completely remove the PINGUard™. A small amount of residue from the adhesive may be left after removal but this can be cleaned or scraped off. Does the PINGuard™ reduce crime?The PINGuard™ was created to reduce 'shoulder surfing' and camersa attacks. By fitting the PINGuard™ you will see a drastic reduction in these attacks, thus reducing crime levels at your ATMs. Can the PINGuard™ be vandalised?The PINGuard™ is incredibly strong and is made of the highest grade materials.
