This role can be based at one of our group head offices in either Crickhowell (Wales) or Stevenage, working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

What will your role be? 

Working as part of a group level Finance team, you will have full responsibility for the TestLink US and UK businesses. Managing the TestLink Finance Department and producing a variety of routine and ad-hoc financial MI reporting, annual budgets and 3-5 year forecasts as well as month end, mid-year and year end activities. Your role will also ensure company audits are a success year after year.

You’ll support the wider finance team to develop robust and consistent management accounting, forecasting and budgeting systems and ensure effective financial controls and procedures are in place designed to protect the company’s profitability, cashflow and balance sheet.

You will also be involved in our Business Continuity planning, reviewing NDA’s and other contractual documentation and managing insurance renewals, queries and claims.

Is this role right for you? 

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a qualified accountant, with in-house experience and good all-rounder knowledge.  It is vital you will already have experience working in a business with an inventory. You are just as comfortable preparing statutory accounts, as you are presenting MI to a Senior Management Team or lending a hand to the Accounts Team by processing some invoices. 

You’ll need to be credible and diplomatic, with the ability to tailor your communication style when working with people at all levels both internal and external to the organisation. As well as being resourceful and self-motivated you’ll need to be used to working in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines. You will need to be able to influence and motivate others and have the ability to gain trust and respect from all.

As we have a global customer and supplier base, experience of foreign exchange would be ideal. If it was gained within a business with continuously moving inventory, even better. If you have already performed a Financial Controller position within a similar business, perfect!
