This is an opportunity for you to gain a level 3 qualification in IT Infrastructure, whilst earning money and gaining valuable hands-on experience within a growing international business.

This full-time IT Apprenticeship is based in our Poole head office. This is not an average apprenticeship, it’s your chance to take the first steps of a successful career within any of the following professions; Help Desk, First or Second Line Support, IT Infrastructure Engineering, Network Engineering and IT Management.

What will the apprenticeship involve? 

You will be part of our internal IT team, supporting your colleagues across multiple sites. You will spend time providing support to end users with queries relating to a number of devices, such as; PC software and hardware, printers, CCTV equipment, as well as internet and network connectivity. You will have the opportunity to assist with infrastructure upgrades and perform AD and Office 365 user administration.

Alongside the training and mentoring you’ll receive at TestLink, you’ll spend one day per week at Bournemouth & Poole Colleague, participating in lessons and workshops. After 18 months you will achieve a qualification covering these main topics;

  • Networking and Architecture
  • Mobile and Operating Systems
  • Cloud Services
  • Coding and Logic
  • Business Processes

Is this role right for you? 

To get the most from this apprenticeship opportunity, you’ll need good organisational skills, great attention to detail and strong communication skills. You will be comfortable speaking with colleagues from all parts of the business. This is a proactive and hands-on role and would suit you if you have a passion for IT and Technology and want to build a career.  

You’ll need a minimum of four GCSEs at grade C or 4 and above or equivalent, including English and Maths, and an IT or Technology related qualification or certification.
