Part Time Financial Controller

Salary £30000 to £35000 pro rata
This is the ideal role for a bright and experienced professional who is CIMA or ACCA qualified and looking for a flexible part time position within a growing international company.
Over 30 years ago we had a vision, to build one of the biggest and best ATM parts and service businesses in the world. We are now looking for a talented Financial Controller to help us in our journey to achieving this goal.
You will be based at our Upton Head Office, working 15 hours per week, possibly 22 hours a week at month end. The days and times can be tailored to suit your lifestyle.

What will your role be?
You will be assisting and supporting our Financial Controller and managing the Finance Department in their absence. Together you’ll be responsible for the production of a variety of routine and ad-hoc financial MI reporting, annual budgets and 3-5 year forecasts as well as month end, mid-year and year end activities.
You’ll support the wider finance team to develop robust and consistent management accounting, forecasting and budgeting systems and ensure effective financial controls and procedures are in place designed to protect the company’s profitability, cashflow and balance sheet.
You will also be involved in our Business Continuity planning, reviewing NDA’s and other contractual documentation and managing insurance renewals, queries and claims.
Is this role right for you?
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a qualified accountant, with in-house experience and good all-rounder knowledge. You are just as comfortable preparing statutory accounts, as you are presenting MI to a Senior Management Team or lending a hand to the Accounts Team by processing some invoices.
You’ll need to be credible and diplomatic, with the ability to tailor your communication style when working with people at all levels both internal and external to the organisation. As well as being resourceful and self-motivated you’ll need to be used to working in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines.

As we have a global customer and supplier base experience of foreign exchange would be ideal. If it was gained within a business with continuously moving inventory, even better.
