Quality Engineer

Full-time, permanent

Poole, Dorset

TestLink Services Ltd are currently recruiting for a full-time, permanent Quality Engineer to join our team in Poole, Dorset. This role will support the business by ensuring that the highest standards of quality are maintained in our produced parts and helping us to make sure only the best products go to our customers with the TestLink name on them. The post holder will work as part of a team to inspect, monitor, guide, and report on the quality of our parts and products.

The Role:

The primary focus of this role will be to help our Quality team to maintain the absolute highest standards of production output by testing and inspecting parts that come from our production teams.

This is an all-round quality role, where your days will be varied and interesting. You will perform manual, hands-on measurement and inspection of parts to check for build quality and allowable tolerances. In addition, you will perform desk-based work to assist in the production of quality guides and monitoring standards for the production teams. There will also be an element of investigative quality work, inspecting customer returns for compliance with agreed standards and reporting root cause analysis and corrective actions to the Quality, Production, and Engineering Managers.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a background in quality control, with a record of working as part of a team to deliver quality improvements within a design and production environment. Experience with ATM component parts would be great, but is not essential, and full training will be provided to give you the skills you need to be successful. You’ll be keen to learn all aspects of your role and will take pride in the work that you produce.

Some IT skills are essential for the role, and you will be comfortable using the MS Office package to produce reports, presentations, and emails. Communication and the ability to talk to all audiences, technical and non-technical, is a key skill for this role.

What we offer you:

The successful candidate will enjoy a supportive business environment, with an emphasis on the development of individual skills and abilities.

In addition, you will benefit from:

  • 23 days annual leave, plus UK bank holidays, rising with service at 1 year and 2 years.
  • Flexible working hours to suit your personal working preferences.
  • Hybrid working opportunities.
  • Long service bonuses at 5, 10, 15+ years.
  • A life assurance scheme.
