What will your role be?
You’ll be leading and developing 4 key functions within the business; Engineering, System Development, Business Analysis and IT Support.
Together with your Engineering Team you’ll be responsible for expanding our product portfolio, through the design and development of security products to defeat criminal activity on ATM’s and ATM after-market products led by market need. You’ll also draw on your skills and experience to improve parts reliability, overcome obsolescence and reduce costs.
Together with your Software Development Team you’ll deliver an effective development cycle that enables our systems to evolve in line with business needs and introduce improved efficiencies with additional functionality. You will use your motivational and collaborative leadership style to manage, mentor and grow your team and create seamless processes from gathering requirements through to design and build, test and deployment.
You will coordinate our internal IT support and external service providers, ensuring that networks, connections, systems and software are best fit, reliable, secure and backed up.
Is this role right for you?
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be logical, organised and a strong communicator, with some experience of leading a technical function already under your belt. This may have been gained as a Team Leader or Manager of a mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or technical services team. You are just as comfortable motivating and developing your teams as you are analysing a reverse engineered solution, detailed designs or data.
You’ll need to be assertive and diplomatic, with the ability to tailor your communication style when working with people at all levels both internal and external to the organisation. As you will be leading multiple functions, this role will need a disciplined approach to time management and prioritisation.
If you have Technical Service Management experience, great. If it was gained within an electro-mechanical environment, even better. If you also have software development experience, perfect! This is an office-based role, working from our Head Office in Poole.
