Stock Controller

Full Time Permanent Role

Salary: £18,525 (£9.50ph) After Probation goes up to £19,500 (£10ph)

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm

Location: Upton, Poole – BH16 5SJ

Plus 23 days holiday, rising with service at 1 and 2 years, plus all bank holidays.

Training will be provided

Opportunity for overtime = 1.3x Weekdays & 1.5x Saturdays

Role Overview

The Stores Coordinator will be responsible for resources within Goods In and Despatch as allocated by the Team Leader, to meet the Company's requirements and time scales of the test and repair schedules. The Stores Coordinator is expected to operate within a framework of procedures and specific targets in pursuit of overall department goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • To assist in the activities associated with Goods In / Despatch as instructed
  • To ensure that the customers product is packaged in accordance with any customer specifications and company procedures/specifications
  • To keep the work areas, warehouse, despatch areas clean and tidy at all times with correct segregation of waste and pallets.
  • To follow and comply with all associated documented and systemised procedures
  • Daily booking in of all material purchases within the specific time scales of the business
  • Testing & Inspection of Goods In and daily replenishment of local stock
  • To ensure that damaged goods are correctly reported
  • To manage all Company requirements regarding the transportation of materials or services.
  • To comply with all relevant aspects of company policy surrounding Health and Safety, Quality, Employment Law and TestLink Services Ltd policies and procedures.
