Core Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm

Location: Upton, Poole – BH16 5SJ

Objective

Working as part of the Service Delivery Team, the Commercial Account Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all commercial and contract requirements are delivered.

  • Coordinating daily activities to ensure that contract KPI’s are delivered
  • Meet internal GP targets in relation to Customer Accounts
  • Drive and Implement projects to maximise revenue, reduce costs and improve profitability
  • Ensure a timely response to queries both internal and external

Key Duties

  • To ensure GP targets are met or exceeded for allocated customers
  • To ensure all contract KPI’s are met
  • To monitor and progress the delivery performance to all customers and drive actions to improve performance if it falls below contractual expectations.
  • Responsible for ensuring inventory plans are in place and satisfied to meet targets
  • Work with IT, Purchasing, Production and Engineering on continuous improvement of system and process
  • To identify opportunities to increase revenue and reduce cost and progress their implementation.
  • To deal with Customer issues and escalations on a day-to-day basis
  • To drive and coordinate Customer requirements and feedback to the relevant personnel within TestLink
  • Deputise for the Operations manager as appropriate
  • Chair Customer review meetings both on site and at customer site
  • To manage the ATM assessment and refurbishment schedule
  • To review and submit to customers quotations for refurbishment of ATMs considering both accuracy and commercial soundness
  • To develop and maintain a broad operational knowledge of all activities within the Team

Key Skills

  • Confident when dealing with people at all levels both internal and external to the organisation
  • Excellent communicator, with good written and verbal skills
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Must be able to work under own initiative to solve problems
  • Calm and collected with ability to work under pressure
  • Good knowledge of Word and Excel essential.
  • Confident when working with computer databases.
