We’ve been in business for 30 years and in that time a lot has changed, technology has changed, our product has changed, our processes and methods have changed, and our industry has changed. In order to grow and thrive as we have, TestLink has been an ever-evolving business. We have a proven approach to enable our people to evolve with us, ensuring they too grow and thrive.

A whopping 70% of all our senior positions are held by team members who progressed internally. Continual development of knowledge is integral to how we do business and our approach is to spend time investing in our people, supporting the team to gain skills, broaden knowledge and develop professionally.

Everyone in our team has access to training of various forms and in addition, we have a number of ‘Early Career’ opportunities, where training and development forms a fundamental part of the role, you can read all about our Apprenticeships, Internships and Graduate and Trainee roles here; TestLink Early Careers.

Professional Training and Qualifications

TestLink supports team members in obtaining a variety of certifications and professional qualifications. Whether it is paid time off for study or examinations, part-funded and fully-funded courses, covering the costs of professional membership fees or purchasing study materials; if the particular qualification is mutually beneficial and supports career development TestLink will support it. Previously funded qualifications have included; CIPS, CIPD, Masters Level Leadership qualifications, ILM Certification, Fork-Lift Driving Licences, Microsoft Certifications, Cranfield University Awards, and much more.

In-House Training and Development

To Support our approach of progressing internally, we frequently provide a range of training and development opportunities. Managers routinely have one-to-one’s with their team to discuss their development and identify career aspirations, providing mentoring to high potential team members alongside opportunities to shadow senior team members and gain additional experience.

Secondments provide a more structured insight and opportunity to gain experience for developing employees. Periods of approximately three months can be spent working in a different role to prepare individuals for a more senior position, or to broaden experience to benefit their current role.

Internally delivered short courses and training sessions on a variety of topics, from Effective Communication Skills and Project Management through to Leadership Skills, provide frequent skills and knowledge top-ups and opportunities to develop professionally.

E-Learning Library

Everyone has access to our own e-learning platform, Apsire. Team members can choose from over 1000 online course to develop a number of role-specific or personal skills. From report writing and time management, to negotiation and presentation skills, through to Excel and accounting qualifications.
